The social media world is in shock after the sudden death of Kyle Marisa Roth, the viral TikTok star who shot to fame sharing Hollywood blind items and controversial takes on the lives and wardrobes of celebrities. Covering everyone from Taylor Swift to Jennifer Lopez, Roth was famously known for her tagline, "You want more? I'll give you more."

Only 36 years old, the TikTok personality amassed a huge social media following through her juicy videos which racked up over five million views. Julia Fox was among many stars who expressed grief over Roth's death. "I know I never met Kyle in real life, but I really felt like I knew her. I'm so devastated and have been crying ever since the news leaked on TikTok. I really hope she did it suffer and I hope she knew how much she touched our lives. She was a ray of sunshine and I will miss her deeply, " Fox commented on a post by Roth's sister announcing her death and expressing the family's grief.

"My sister Kyle Marisa passed away last week. As a family, we are still processing and deciding how to properly celebrate and honor her life. We don't know what happened yet. I know she touched so many people with her humor, intelligence, beauty, gossip activism, athleticism and more - she had so many gifts," sister Lindsay wrote in the Instagram post.

While the news of Roth's death remains unclear, here are a few things we know about the controversial social media star whose highly addictive videos will be missed.

1. She had 210 followers on TikTok.

Through her witty commentary and gossip, Roth gained a massive following on the platform even after being suspended in March. She was known for her blind item videos, that reveal unverified rumors about celebrities that their reps can't deny or confirm.

2. She was a colon cancer survivor.

Having endured many health hardships including multiple car accidents, the influencer announced via Twitter that she defeated colon cancer three years ago.

3. Where was she from?

Born in Pennsylvania, Roth graduated from Lehigh University where she played lacrosse.

4. She was an entertainment journalist.

Prior to becoming a viral social media sensation, Roth worked in entertainment journalism.
