Cirque du Soleil Fragrance

When you think of the circus, a ringmaster, acrobats and clowns probably come to mind. Definitely not fragrance. Well, at least not the kind of fragrance you'd want to spritz on your wrists. But Cirque du Soleil just upended the perfume game, much like it redefined the modern circus.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary, Cirque du Soleil decided to roll out an aroma as complex as its stage shows in collaboration with Flower Shop Perfumes Co. Called l'eau de parfum by Cirque du Soleil, it beautifully blends traditional notes of bergamot, iris, freesia, sandalwood, vanilla beans and amber with more out-of-the-ring ingredients, including red apple, cotton candy, buttery popcorn and caramelized amber. The bottle is just as amazing. It's crowned with an art deco top and a gold stopper boasting a large sun rising above the moon.

The advertising campaign also serves art deco vibes thanks to photographer Elizaveta Porodina. Starring model Alyda Grace, the ads look like old-school posters you'd see promoting everything from films to traveling shows.

The new fragrance retails for $195 exclusively on Cirque du Soleil's website.
