Some fashion houses are willing to travel great distances in the name of their advertising campaigns. Like Italian brand Loro Piana, which journeyed all the way to Rio de Janeiro for its Spring 2025 ads. Seán McGirr didn't have to go that far, but the creative director of Alexander McQueen decided to visit Llansteffan Castle in Wales with a cast of characters.
The Alexander McQueen Spring 2025 campaign captures models exploring the castle and its grounds, "bound by an enigmatic and animating force." It also gives a glimpse of a banshee dressed in silver and crystal chains, making us wish we could temporarily trade places with the mythic figure. It all serves as a fitting nod to the fashion house's Fall 1994 collection. In addition to showing off the recent collection's crazy collared pieces, the ads also shine a light on its accessories, including bags, belts and sandals.
