Then there are the brands like Bottega Veneta creating chain ankle-strap shoes that give the illusion of flaunting anklets. Although some street style stars are adding anklets on top anyway.
Obviously, summer is the season of anklets, but they can actually be worn well into fall. As long as an ankle is exposed, an anklet can be used to draw attention downward. They can even be sported over socks or tights.
