Paris is definitely the place to be this summer. The haute couture shows are always a big draw and the Olympic Games are also set in the City of Light beginning next month. There's one thing you probably didn't anticipate, however. Balenciaga deciding to open up a souvenir shop.
The shop is stacked with your usual fare, like T-shirts, coffee cups and even postcards. But each is given a high-fashion spin. We're talking about Demna Gvasalia, after all. He doesn't do anything on a small scale. Most of the trinkets contain both Paris and Balenciaga graphics so everyone will know that your new acquisitions weren't simply acquired at a small little stand perched near the Eiffel Tower.
The good news? You don't have to fly to France and battle all of the other tourists for the perfect memento. Balenciaga's souvenir shop can actually be found online. The bad news? These keepsakes come with designer prices. The aforementioned tees cost $550 (that's just for starters), the scenic thong sandals run $425, you'll have to shell out $90 for a mug and even the magnets might bust your whole shopping budget at $115 apiece.
Still craving your own little token? Then head on over to Balenciaga's website to shop the collection stateside.
