Every season offers its fair share of must-have accessories. For a period, opera gloves were everywhere. Then everyone became obsessed with Coach's puffy Tabby bag. Since trends take some time to trickle down to the masses via fast fashion, the current inventory is mainly confined to designer brands. Alaïa, Chloe and Prada lead the way with dangling bags attached to the wrists, and in some cases elbows, of almost every model in their respective lineup. They range from hobo bags to fringe- or-stud-accented bucket bags. All pretty impressive forms of arm candy and each offers enough space to cart around your bare necessities.
The handles, aka bracelets, are designed to please minimalists and maximalists alike. Alexander McQueen's T-bar take provides a touch of negative space. Jil Sander's small tote boasts a twisted bracelet, just like those chunky necklaces that were and kinda still are popular. Then there's Jimmy Choo's elegant wristlet with a pearl and a gold ball decorating the handle. Chloe's contribution definitely leans more maximalist with trifectas of gold rings decorating each side.
Alaïa's rings are pretty straightforward, probably to let the actual bags steal the majority of the spotlight. Same goes for Jacquemus as its 3-D flowers are definitely the showstopper. Zara's orange box clutch is also big on personality.
