We don't know if you've noticed, but there seems to be a definite pattern when it comes to the upcoming Resort 2026 runway shows. It's pretty common for a fashion house to travel somewhere to put on its presentation, but this season it appears everyone's making a beeline for Italy. Including Christian Dior.
The French label just announced that its Cruise 2026 runway show will take place in Rome on May 27. Exactly where remains unknown. The decision actually makes sense since the brand's current artistic director of womenswear is actually from the Italian capital. Maria Grazia Chiuri joins a growing list of designers deciding to jet off to Italy. Fellow French fashion house Chanel revealed it'll go to the Lake Como region for its show. Gucci picked Florence, while Max Mara is headed to Naples.
Stay tuned to see if other brands keep this trend going.
