The Summer Olympics wrapped up way back in August, but France's artistic swimming team just popped up (and back down again) at Paris Fashion Week. Christian Louboutin and David LaChapelle teamed up to present the footwear designer's new Spring 2025 collection. Only Louboutin can pull something like this off because the brand is famous for those eye-catching red bottoms.
The performance is a shout-out to water ballets of 50s cinema combining fashion, water, sport and dance. The latter makes sense since Louboutin kicked off his career designing shoes for dancers. The team members wear the Miss Z Pump in the routine at Piscine Molitor choreographed by Blanca Li. The scene also includes fountains and a humongous pair of Louboutins sliding into the pool.
