When Edward Enninful announced he was leaving his role as British Vogue's editor-in-chief, many people were shocked. That's because he really prospered in the position. He's delivered exceptional cover after exceptional cover since he took over back in 2017. From his very first offering featuring Adwoa Aboah to Naomi Scott's lovely retro cover to the most recent starring Maya Jama, it's hard to imagine the influential publication without him. Now we know the March 2024 edition will be his last. Which means we only have seven more new issues to go under his historic tenure.
Enninful made history serving as the magazine's first-ever black editor-in-chief. He'll still be attached to the U.K. version of Vogue in his new position as editorial adviser. Enninful is also set to take on the role of global creative and cultural adviser at Vogue.
Already feeling nostalgic? Enninful is asking readers to share which of his many issues is their favorite. Frankly, we can't decide.
