Normally sequins are reserved for nighttime. We say normally because flaunting flashy skirts during daylight hours is the current craze. Now this change in approach may go the way of many other trends relegated to the bottom bins of both real and virtual clothing stores. Or, in this case, back to evening hours. There's another option, however. Instead of embracing blinged-out skirts, you can rather seamlessly move on to embellished jeans.
Both Beyoncé and the street style set are already on board. The music and fashion icon just dropped her second collaboration with Levi's practically dripping in rhinestones for the pair's "Pool Hall" ad. We're still in the midst of Fashion Month Fall 2025 so the outfit inspiration keeps on coming, but shiny denim is definitely a theme. While showgoers don't think twice about rocking crystals from head to toe, it doesn't really translate into the real world. So when you're shopping for jeans resist the urge to pick up any complementing shirts or jackets.
There's also a surprising variety to select from. You can go subtle by buying a pair where the shine only appears in concentrated bursts at the bottom. Another way to go is to favor side-embellished jeans. That way onlookers will only get the full experience when you turn to leave. Alice + Olivia's offering boasts sparkling, rolled-up cuffs. Area is definitely the leader in this category, though. Taylor Swift even sported the brand's crystal-slit jeans to the 2024 Super Bowl.
