It's that time of year again. Now that summer's almost wrapping up and the hot weather will (finally) start to cool down, denim is on the sartorial menu. As usual, there are lots of options to choose from. But there are only a handful that are on the must-have list of Fall 2023 jeans.
First up, flares. Skip the cropped kind and go for close to bell-bottom takes. You can go from low rise all the way up to high rise depending on your preference.
Cargo jeans are still going strong. Choose from an extra pocket or almost too many to count. It goes without saying that most of these are on the baggier side.
Which brings us to baggy jeans. When this trend first started, it was go big or go home. Now there are different levels of bagginess. So if you just want a tad more leg room, go with a less loose fit.
Split-hem jeans are also on the rise. The slits make a statement. Not to mention make it easier to slip these jeans on over a pair of boots.
The last two are probably the most controversial. Tapered jeans gradually narrow as you go down the leg. Some will love the silhouette, while others will find it awkward.
Two-tone jeans are also finding fans. The patchwork effect can be found on everything from wide-leg pairs to skinnier versions. They're a great compromise if you can't decide between light and dark washes.
