One of the many highlights of summer is all of the fresh fruit at our fingertips. Just a quick spin pushing a shopping cart around your local grocery store and you'll notice strawberries, oranges, lemons, cherries along with the best, most juiciest peaches and watermelons of the year. Not to mention all of the plump tomatoes. (Remember, they're fruits, not vegetables.) With all of this goodness everywhere we look, it's only natural that a fashion trend would grow out of the abundance. Enter the fun fruit jewelry craze.
Designers are definitely in the fruit jewelry chat. Dolce & Gabbana decided to focus on cherries offering bracelets and earrings boasting glitzy pairs. But no fashion house is more committed than Chloe. In addition to a statement pineapple necklace, the brand created a cornucopia of fruity charms for those of us who like our fruit with a side of bling.
Other notable options? The orange blossom earrings from Les Néréides Paris, the OTT strawberry necklace courtesy of Emma Pilla and Lisa Says Gah's tomato hoops. If you like your fruit in bunches, pick up Kendra Scott's bracelet or Aureum Collective's anklet, both of which feature several varieties.
