H&M really has perfected the art of guest designer collaborations. Beginning all the way back in 2004 with the one-and-only Karl Lagerfeld. Since then the affordable retailer has joined forces with the likes of Stella McCartney, Roberto Cavalli, Versace, Balmain, Moschino and the list just keeps on going. If you're suffering from FOMO thanks to missing out on these cool collections when they first dropped, good news. In honor of 20 years of guest designer collaborations, H&M is re-releasing pieces from its most high-profile partnerships.
The initiative is also a great way to practice responsible shopping by investing in pre-loved pieces. The once again must-haves are sourced from online pre-loved marketplace Sellpy and global vintage retailers. "Through working with pre-loved pieces, we can bring these collections back to fashion fans giving them the chance to love these collections all over again, while introducing iconic fashion moments from H&M and the world's top design talents to a new generation," explains Jörgen Andersson, Creative Director, H&M.
H&M is introducing, or rather reintroducing, these pieces via a series of drops in seven global stores and online. In addition to the previously mentioned designers, the new collection includes items from Viktor&Rolf, Simone Rocha, Jimmy Choo, Erdem and many, many more.
