Another day, another Jacquemus production. Simon Porte Jacquemus, founder and creative director of the French fashion house, helped his brand celebrate its 15th anniversary with a runway production like no other. On Monday, the creative genius transported only 40 attendees, including Dua Lipa and Gwyneth Paltrow, to Casa Malaparte for the showing of his Fall 2024 collection. The villa was designed by Italian architect Adalberto Libera for writer Curzio Malaparte in the 30s.

The location served as the ultimate inspiration for the designer and was carefully chosen. "I decided to create my brand after watching Le Mépris from Jean-Luc Godard, being inspired by the beauty and modernity of his vision," he wrote on Instagram. The 1963 film was shot at Malaparte's home, which boasts a breathtaking cliff and 99 steps.

As a live orchestra played in the background, models adorned the historical masterpiece in the brand's signatures to celebrate the milestone, from semi-transparent dresses to gray formalwear. Jacquemus' approach to color and whimsical silhouettes weren't left out of the conversation as other muses wore towel-like robes, stiff gowns and tops with extravagant sleeves. The show ended with a bang with Blackpink's Jennie Kim donning a fanning black dress with a teal clutch.

The monumental occasion is just one of many moments in Jacquemus' continued reign in fashion. Just last month, it was revealed that the Museum at FIT would honor the designer with the Award for Artistry of Fashion during its annual luncheon in September. And the flowers are well-deserved.
