Ever since Jean Paul Gaultier retired back in 2020, we've been treated to a variety of guest designers. Simone Rocha, Nicolas Di Felice, Haider Ackermann, Olivier Rousteing, Glenn Martens, Julien Dossena and even Chitose Abe have all created one-of-a-kind collections for the fashion house presenting them during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. Now it's Ludovic de Saint Sernin's turn to put his own spin on Gaultier's archive.
The Paris-based designer, who has worked for Christian Dior and Balmain in the past, seems like his style will mesh perfectly with Gaultier. There's a certain sensuality to his designs when it comes to both womenswear and menswear. He also knows how to create super structured silhouettes as well as more flowy pieces. Here's hoping he picks some of Gaultier's more obscure creations as muses.
De Saint Sernin's Gaultier collection will be revealed in January during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.
