JW Anderson just dropped its first official eyewear collection and it's honestly about time. Jonathan Anderson, the founder and creative visionary behind his namesake brand, has developed a strong identity through exaggerated silhouettes and playful approaches to wardrobe classics. This new venture focuses on one of the most important aspects of any great ensemble — sunglasses.

The new line features four unisex styles showcasing iconic silhouettes. Crafted from premium Italian Mazzucchelli 1849 acetate and coming in faux fur cases, each piece effortlessly shows the brand's mastery of color, functionality and luxury. One design, Bumper, is directly inspired by the Bumper bag, a marriage of enlarged proportions and brilliant color play. The square frames include tubular edging and asymmetrical tips accompanied by distinct JWA logos on the temples.

Other styles like the Rectangle and Geometric also make an impact. Rectangle is marked by chunky matte frames with silver end pieces and asymmetrical temple tips, while the Geometric meshes acetate and metal detailing paired with metallic nose pads. Then there's the Twister, inspired by the Twister bag, with its handle depicted by intricately molded acetate. The design also takes a subtle approach featuring a flat twist across the bridge.

Take a closer look at the collection above and be sure to shop the JW Anderson website to elevate your eyewear game this season.
