We don't have to tell you that hair bows are trending. (Especially since we recently put together a whole post on their tremendous popularity.) Kate Beckinsale's hairstyle at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards proves bows aren't going anywhere.
The actress and presenter topped off her silver dress with a high ponytail courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Scott King. He used UNITE hair products to create the head-turning look.
"My inspiration for Kate's look was a more polished and softer look of her signature ponytail," says Scott. "Kate loves bows and she usually wears a very large one day to day. We wanted to elevate her everyday look so I added a bunch of tiny black bows on her ponytail to add more flair."
First he prepped her wet locks with the brand's 7SECONDS Detangler, followed by BOOSTA Volumizing Spray and then a dime-size amount of SMOOTH&SHINE Styling Cream before blowing out her hair. Scott then curled her strands and set them for 20 minutes with a light mist of SESSION-MAX Spray. He brushed out her hair before securing it into a ponytail. BOOSTA Finishing Spray was added for volume and hold with a shiny finish. Scott secured the ponytail with a generous coat of SESSION-MAX Spray, then strategically placed all those mini black bows.
