Kate Moss is an icon. Full stop. She was the It girl back in the 90s—and a pinup for the heroin chic look—and has never really been out of the modeling spotlight. Or out of style. Much like the 90s Supers, Moss is still very much an in-demand model. And, much like Cindy Crawford's daughter Kaia Gerber, Moss' daughter Lila Moss is also an in-demand model in her own right. Lila is repped by none other than the Kate Moss Agency, established in 2016 by her supermodel mother, which just reported a $5.3 million dollar profit.
A modeling agency is not the only business Moss has her hands in. She just launched her wellness brand Cosmoss stateside, to introduce her sacred aura mist, holistic face creams, and calming teas to a wider audience. Because if anyone can relate to models needing to unwind after a long day of posing for pictures it's Moss.
The news that the Kate Moss agency was so successful sent the Internet into a spin with searches for terms like "How much does a model make?" and "Should I enroll my child in modeling" going through the roof. Moss actually began the hugely successful business when her daughter was just starting out as a model. And the savvy move— a great way for Moss to keep a watchful eye on her daughter in a cutthroat industry—has majorly paid off. Her daughter Lila is far from Moss' only client. The model—whose boyfriend is the British/German aristocrat and photographer Count Nikolai von Bismarck—also represents Rita Ora, Ella Richards, and Thomas Eblen, aka Blondey McCoy.
In honor of Moss' achievements both on and off the runway, we're looking fondly back at some of her best style moments.
