Kylie Jenner's Khy is determined to redefine the modern wardrobe by blending luxury with everyday style and its upcoming eighth drop accomplishes just that. Its Vacation Shop contains Khy's first venture into swimwear featuring 16 styles ranging from sultry bikinis to fashion-forward cover-ups. There are also triangle tops and boy short bottoms that cater to various coverage needs and mesh contemporary trends with essential styles.
In addition to swimsuits, the collection features 12 cover-ups that are perfect for transitional dressing from oceanside to the street. The assortment comes in lightweight fabrics ideal for summer: Soft Stretch, an ultra soft modal jersey, and Mesh, a breezy, sheer, single-layer mesh. There's a captivating color palette to match, including orange, black, brown and red, allowing for more creativity when it comes to styling each piece.
"This is the vacation wardrobe of my dreams and I'm so excited to finally share it with everyone," explains Jenner. "We took our time perfecting this collection because, as with anything we launch at Khy, the design, quality, fabric and fit are all super important to me."
"For the swim, we created looks and options for different styles and coverage preferences. I wanted to make sure we were catering to everyone. For the cover-ups, it was important to me that these styles complemented the swim because whenever I'm on vacation or at the beach, what I'm wearing over my swimsuit is basically my whole look for the day," she adds.
While Drop 008 marks the label's debut in swimwear, this isn't Jenner's first rodeo with the summer category. In September 2021, the entrepreneur launched Kylie Swim that offered similar beach-appropriate attire, but it hasn't seen much success. Perhaps this vacation drop is Jenner's chance for redemption.
With a size-inclusive range from XXS to 4X and an affordable price cap of $88, the 28-piece collection will be available on Khy's website on July 11. In the meantime, take a closer look at the campaign images below.
