It seems like there are fashion collaborations everywhere you look right now. While we're planning on shopping all of them, there's one partnership we plan on over-stuffing our closet with. We're talking about the brand new Maryam Nassir Zadeh x J.Crew offering.
The New York-based designer brought her slightly quirky, always stylish persona to the collab. There's a great mix of swimwear, mesh bags, breezy dresses and skirts and even sandals. Frankly, the eclectic collection is right up our alley.
"The collection is casual and has an ease to it, but also has a romantic, playful femininity," the designer explains. "There are collector's pieces that have longevity as well as more unique dream pieces that are so fun for summer and travel."
Speaking of travel, she took the entire summer capsule to Formentera, an island in the Mediterranean, to shoot the advertising campaign. Although the line isn't strictly for vacations. "This collection is full of great packing pieces for a beach holiday, but you can also wear it running around the city, at home, in parks and out to dinners."
In addition to an awesome lineup of women's pieces, there are also options for the kiddos. Because it's best to develop their sartorial muscle at an early age. This is one instance where mommy-and-me styling is encouraged.
