It's sweltering out. That's not news because practically everyone in the country is dealing with just the first of many heat waves set to strike this summer. It's not even the Fourth of July and it already feels like mid-August. Now the term may sound like an oxymoron, but there are indeed pairs that will be accepted by your company and your coworkers. Naturally, it's always important to check with HR since what works for one workplace may be out of place at another. You want to look for what we're affectionately dubbing "suit shorts." Basically, bottoms that are meant to be paired with a suit jacket or vest. That's not to say you can't rock them with a professional-looking shirt. Lengths can vary, slightly. Bermuda shorts are back in style and the fact that they hit just above the knee allows you to wear them with confidence to work. You can go shorter, though.
