There's some big news for Prada fans. The brand behind some of fashion's current major trends like the logo white ribbed tank top and those floral pumps is bringing back both its skin care and makeup lines. It's happening soon, too. According to WWD, the new offshoots are coming Tuesday August 1. Yup, next week.
Prada's been quite the tease lately. There have been rumors of makeup and skin care products for some time and a few days ago the fashion house started a "countdown" of sorts on its Prada Beauty Instagram account. But now it's official. WWD reports that Prada will sell the lines on its websites to start, then via Harrods and Selfridges in London on August 18. The U.S. will have to wait until January 2024.
On the makeup front, there will reportedly be eye palettes, lipsticks and foundation. A pretty pricey face cream, a serum and, naturally, makeup remover are on the skin care docket.
