In a few months all of the fashion world will descend on Italy. Much like an It item, the country seems to be hot right now with a majority of top fashion houses heading there to host their respective resort runway presentations. Chanel picked Lake Como, Gucci will be presenting in Florence, Christian Dior selected Rome and Max Mara decided to stretch out its offering over two days in Naples. Now Pucci has revealed that Italy will be the destination of its next runway show.
More specifically Portofino, a fishing village nestled on the Italian Riviera. The decision makes total sense in this case since Pucci is an Italian brand. Because it's Pucci, we can expect a whole lot of prints, including the Marmo, which Pucci Artistic Director Camille Miceli reintroduced a few years ago when she took over. While the exact location is unclear at this point, we're sure wherever the show is held will serve as a spectacular backdrop.
Pucci will stage its next runway show on April 4.
