Summer has its own set of staples. Like sundresses, cutoffs, miniskirts and tank tops. This season also includes a few newbies, including micro shorts aka the no pants look. One of the biggest trends is toting raffia, straw and wicker bags everywhere, even if you're not water-adjacent. But these fabrics don't just come in bag and shoe forms. There are plenty of raffia-like clothing and accessories that'll up the ante on any seasonal outfit.

The Spring 2024 runways are good places to start. They ushered in a new class of woven pieces in unexpected silhouettes. Ermanno Scervino sent out several macramé items, from a minidress to a bandeau top and skirt set along with a blazer, a crop top and shorts ensemble. Models at Tod's rocked woven moto-style gloves that beautifully coordinated with the woven bags they were carting.

While gloves may not be currently practical with all of the heat waves going on, the other examples fit in rather nicely. In addition to Ermanno Scervino's scene-stealing bustier dress, we unearthed raffia chokers, a straw headband, colorful earrings and a beige belt. Cult Gaia may not have held a Spring 2024 runway show, but the brand is another great source of raffia treasures. Choose from an asymmetric top, a full midi skirt and even high-rise, wide-leg jeans.

Prices are kind of all over the map. Which is a good thing depending upon how invested you want to be in this burgeoning trend. Ermanno Scervino's aforementioned dress will set you back a couple thousand and Cult Gaia's Ophile Skirt comes in just under $1,700. Although there are more cost-effective options out there. FARM Rio's swinging midi dress can be yours for $298. Cult Gaia's jeans are listed at $539. Jewelry is definitely the easiest way to dip your toe into the craze.
