It was only a matter of time before some wise brand reached out to WNBA superstar Angel Reese about a collaboration. Reese is almost as well known for her on-point off-court style as her impressive skills on the court. Reebok obviously took notice announcing it's partnering with Reese on a fantastic footwear and apparel collection.
Reebok by Angel is just as cool as you'd imagine. The collaboration revolves around an icy color palette featuring Always Blue and Silver Chrome. There are "Unapologetically Angel" graphics throughout and custom sneaker sockliners with Reese's famous quote: "When They Sleep on You...Tuck Them In!" A personal favorite of Reese is the Angel Lux 7/8 Bodysuit "designed to keep you fresh and supported for all-day confidence."
"I am honored to unveil my first collection with Reebok, and worked hand in hand with the brand to ensure each and every piece is designed to elicit confidence and expression," says Reese. "I wanted to create a collection that allowed women and girls everywhere to embrace their femininity and power in whatever they're doing. This collection is for HER to be stylish and fierce on all occasions."
On the footwear front, some of Reebok's top performers get in on the action. There's the retro Premier Road VI, the basketball-inspired BB 4000 II and the brand's Classic Leather kicks.
Prices run from $35 for a cotton bralette to $120 for the aforementioned Premier Road VI sneakers. Reebok by Angel is available to shop beginning August 23 via Reebok's website and at select retailers worldwide.
