Although there are plenty of Gen Z stars making their mark, Sabrina Carpenter is on the brink of a Hollywood takeover following her modeling debut as a muse for SKIMS' latest spring intimates collection. In the 90s-themed campaign, which nods to the current coquette aesthetic, the singer appears in sultry, pastel-colored pieces from the brand's Stretch Lace and Fits Everybody collections, including the Stretch Lace Babydoll Top, Stretch Lace Brief, Fits Everybody Triangle Bralette and Fits Everybody Brief.
While she's responsible for hits like "Nonsense" and "Skinny Dipping," Carpenter first entered the public eye after playing a lead role on Disney Channel's Girl Meets World. Since then, she's enjoyed a progressive rise into the limelight and earned many titles along the way — singer, songwriter, actress and even fragrance connoisseur with the launch of Sweet Tooth last year.
Carpenter's ensembles in the SKIMS' promotional rollout are also reflective of her Bratz-inspired style, which is no matter to gloss over. Styled by Jason Bolden, the "Feather" artist has appeared in various looks that effortlessly nail trends while maintaining individuality, including the sheer, snakeskin Tory Burch dress at this year's Vanity Fair Oscar Party and her corset-centered outfits on tour.
In her tender 24 years, Carpenter has amassed an impact that's pretty hard to ignore. Between opening for Taylor Swift on The Eras Tour, headlining her own tour, being named Variety's Rising Star of 2023 and her pending performance at Coachella, it's safe to say the singer is well on her way to superstar status.
