Fashion is art. Salvatore Ferragamo is embracing that fact with its latest campaign. The Italian fashion house partners with the Uffizi to highlight its Fall 2023 collection against the backdrop of 15th and 16th century artwork.
The New Renaissance involves a fresh direction for the brand as it celebrates Florence along with the city's artistry, beauty and innovation. The setting showcases Creative Director Maximilian Davis' quiet luxury-ready Fall 2023 offering in grand style.
"The Renaissance is hardwired into Florence, and Florence is hardwired into Ferragamo," says Davis. "At this time of a new beginning at the house, it made perfect sense to reclaim the cradle of the Renaissance as our spiritual home, and to harness the deep, artistic spirit of this city to showcase the new collection."
Tyler Mitchell is behind the images and the accompanying video. The cast is just as impressive. Models Vittoria Ceretti, Anok Yai, Lina Zhang, Jessica Stam, Mona Tougaard, Paul Hameline, Iván de Pineda, Malick Bodian and Taemin Park all shine.
The end result? A campaign where the ads should be hanging in a gallery somewhere.
