When news of Sarah Burton's upcoming exit from Alexander McQueen broke a few days ago, we were all shook. That's because the designer has been synonymous with the brand since the beginning of her career. But now that we've had time to process her departure, we want to take a look back at Burton's best creations for Alexander McQueen.
Burton's been the creative force behind the fashion house since 2010. Although some of her best work has been sent down recent runways. From the surprisingly floral-packed Spring 2019 presentation to the moodier Fall 2023 offering, the designer continually impresses with her mastery of silhouette.
We still have one more Burton-crafted Alexander McQueen show to go, but we have to wait until Paris Fashion Week to see her magnum opus. In the meantime, take a stroll down memory lane by revisiting her best designs so far.
