The skirt is this season's hero piece. And as for the best style, sheer skirts are one of the biggest trends for this spring and summer. They were literally everywhere on the Fall 24 runways at Carven, Saint Laurent, Chloe, Prada, and Givenchy and the list goes on. And as it goes in fashion, the runway trend has now trickled down to the wardrobes of our favorite celebrity-style stars. With a nod to both boho dressing and the naked trend, "the sheer skirt is sexy, ultra-feminine, and polished", says Fashion Times fashion director Sarah Meikle.
As for how to wear the sheer skirt, there are many avenues you can take. Midi or maxi, completely sheer, embellished with sequins, embroidered, lace, or in this season's top shades— sand, peach fuzz, and of course classic black.
