Doja Cat is keeping herself pretty busy. The Grammy winner has a new album out, she'll headline a tour kicking off in late October and is now a sneaker designer.
Skechers just bestowed upon Doja the title of artist-in-residence. The sneaker brand also revealed that the singer has already designed her first kicks. Doja created them with the 2000s in mind. She took the Skechers D'Lites sneakers and wove in mixed materials, then incorporated a Skechers x Doja Cat logo. They come in both vibrant and neutral colorways.
"It feels really cool to be able to create my own shoe with Skechers," shares Doja. "To design something inspired by the iconic sneaker my peers wore back in the day — Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera — I feel like I am a part of history."
The Doja'Lite kicks also feature the brand's trademark air-cooled memory foam cushioned comfort insoles. Which mean they look cool and feel comfortable. Skechers x Doja Cat is available now on Skechers' website.
