Steven Meisel is a legend. Full stop. The lensman has supplied some of the most striking fashion photographs of all time. Now Meisel has gotten together with Zara to create a capsule collection.
The pairing isn't surprising. After all, Meisel has been Zara's campaign photographer of choice for years now. The collection called Steven Meisel New York in a nod to the photographer's hometown includes well-priced pieces for both men and women. The vibe is very city chic with lots of black and lots of leather.
Naturally, Meisel got some of the biggest names in modeling to showcase his new collection. Linda Evangelista, Irina Shayk, Liya Kebede, Amber Valletta, Gigi Hadid, Sora Choi, Kaia Gerber, Alton Mason and the list just keeps going. The cast behind the scenes is just as impressive. Karl Templer served as stylist, Pat McGrath worked her makeup magic and Guido Palau handled the hair.
The collection drops September 18 both online and in stores, but you don't have to wait to see the lineup. Beginning tomorrow through September 13 there will be a pop-up store at 33 Howard Street running from 11:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m.
