Road trips are summer staples. Sydney Sweeney already got a jump on the tradition by cruising to Palm Springs for Jimmy Choo's Summer 2024 advertising campaign.
The collection finds inspiration in "the carefree spirit of California" combining fresh silhouettes with the house's signature design codes. Which explains why Sweeney was selected to go on this pilgrimage. She's one of the hottest celebrities out there right now with multiple fashion and beauty labels vying for her representation.
"I love to take Jimmy Choo somewhere else - to travel, to transport us and our woman," explains Creative Director Sandra Choi. "For Summer 2024, it's a return, back to a place that is part of our brand DNA - California. That encompasses LA, of course - and the red-carpet glamour which is so important to Jimmy Choo - but also an idea of wider California, the casual glamour and cool. It's about the contrasts you can find in the same place, letting us mix between dressed-up and dressed-down, exploring all its different facets. This Jimmy Choo collection is relaxed, open, free – it's filled with a playful confidence. It's my California Dream."
The advertising campaign includes print ads and vignettes. Both captured by Oliver Hadlee Pearch. On the footwear front, the Cece Mule serves serious Western vibes with flashy finishes. There are plenty of bags to be had, too. Choose from the Cinch boasting a drawstring closure, the Diamond Shoulder East-West and the Diamond Crossbody in new finishes. Basically everything you need to hit the road in style.
