Zara Pre-Owned Platform

Fast-fashion brands get lots of flack for being the antithesis of eco-conscious. It's based on the argument that buying luxury, although expensive, is more of an investment since whatever you buy will last a long time. Well, Zara's here to challenge that now outdated notion by releasing its very own pre-owned platform in the United States.

It's actually already in use in Europe, operating on the premise of repair, resell and donate. The platform allows any customer to request a Zara garment be repaired so you don't have to worry about a zipper getting stuck or embellishments falling off. Have a piece you no longer have any use for? Then the resell option has your name on it, permitting customers to post a photo, a description of the item and its condition before offering it to interested parties. You'll also be able to donate any unwanted Zara clothing to nonprofits. Heck, if you live in New York City, you can even request the piece be picked up at home along with your online order.
